Maybe those who have follow scanlation for years already know that this week is called Golden Week in Japan.
In shorts, here are the holidays in Golden Week:
- April 29: Showa-no-hi (Showa Day)
- May 3 : Kenpou-kinen-bi (Constitution Memorial Day)
- May 4 : Midori-no-hi (Greenery Day)
- May 5 : Kodomo-no-hi (Children’s Day)
Most businesses close for at least a week which definitely affects the release of weekly Shonen Jump.

Answer: We can expect Naruto next week ( 9th May 2008 )
