Eh, go figure. Just another difference in the manga to anime transition that
definitely adds to the confusion on which side to defend with all of the Sora
discussion and what his true role is in the story.
Naruto did learn the shadow clone on his own, I said he learned it not made it, when you learn some thing you learn by watching or reading, no one actualy told naruto how to do any of the things. So no one acutaly told naruto how to do the things he learned as far as rasengan and shadow clones go. As for the sexy jutsu naruto still altered the mimic jutsu or what every you call it. He changed it and made it his own.
Shicimaru’s shadow possion is the same as his fathers and it is clear his father taught him it, all he did was changed the name, he didn’t change the ability at all. We also know his father is the one who taught him the shadow strangle. It is true that naruto’s rasengan was the same as the one his father used, but he even changed that to his own personal form. Then there is that fact that naruto was able to use defrent abilitys at one time which was said to be hard to do even for junins, namly useing shadow clones and transformation.
No one in there generation has there own unique abilitys other then naruto and sasuke right now. Every one else just has there parents abilitys or in sakuras case tsunades abilitys.

Jiraiya was kind and gave Naruto hints on how to do Rasengan and he didnt learned it on hes own since Jiraiya thaught him the tree steps and let him do the rest of the jutsu.
Rasengan is only tree hard steps and Jiraiya showed naruto how to do it.
Karin is kind of… strange in this chapter. Just look at that biting-scene. Imagine how many guys bit into her arm until this chapter when you look at her wounds.
jeriah never told told naruto how to do them, jeriah told naruto to basics to do,
in other words. there are 2 guys in a garage, one guy (jeriah) tells the other guy to build a car out of the parts (other guy being naruto). The first guy (jeriah) screws in a bolt then says ok the rest you have to do.
What naruto did was real hard to do and most ninja’s couldn’t have done it, your down playing him to much.
and deathwalker, it took naruto like 3 weeks to master, and it took minato 3 years to create.
another thing i thought of is back in naruto’s match with kiba. naruto was handicapped and his chakra wasn’t flowing right, despite that, he beat kiba. it kinda makes u think just how weak and how strong some of those guys really are. if naruto had known about the shadow clone training a long time ago, and used the method every time he trained, imagine how strong he’d really be….

well that was a good saying but you forget that the guy (Jiraiya) would have said build it up like this.
and then he bulit av half of it and the other guy (Naruto) do it.
then he do the same thing with the other half.
then Jiraiya tell Naruto to build it whole now since he know how to do the half work he just only need to combine them and the work is done.
dont forget its harder to do something when you dont know if its gonna work
jeriah showed naruto the finished form of each step, but he never told naruto how to do the steps, it is like showing some one a carberater thats already been assembled and saying build this and then throwing all the parts to the person. Shuma it dosen’t matter how much you post it will be the same, naruto learned on his own.

I have to agree with shuma on this matter. Those 3 steps Jiraiya taught Naruto ARE the method to using the rasengan. They are just each very difficult to perform. Some things can only be learned through personal experience.
The only exception might be the first step where Jiraiya didn’t specify that the chakra had to swirl in all different directions at once. But teaching doesn’t mean explaining every detail. In school, you are taught the basics of a problem, but in homework exercises or tests, you can get more complicated problems that you have to figure out using what you’ve learned and your own logic.
Your car part analogy could work, but its not like just showing him the part and saying build it. It’s more like building it in front of him, and then saying build it. Still hard, but that’s how a lot of stuff is taught.
Man everyone knows naruto is not the smartest by any means when it comes to book smarts but what he does have is instinct. When in battle he can really think on the go. His instict is what also helps him learn also although he may not be aware of it sometimes. I think you can’t compare him to shikamaru or kakashi. shika is just plain cunning and a born stategist and even though he plans ahead if something deviates he plans for that too. I know this comes late but just had to put my 2 cents in lol and whoever refered to chess and shika right on very good point. OMG jus got a vision relating naruto and mugen from samurai champloo lmao. ahem anyway done rambling im done you may stone me now
