To Daniel: Actualy, since a kekegenkai is written in your genetik code, thus manifesting itself through your body, logic dictates it’s controlled by your brain the same way any other part of your body is. Thus, anyone over the age of 2 wil lautomaticly be able to instantly reuse that part of the body after using it once. But that’s just assuming the Naruto universe’s humans biology is based on the real world. Although it’s all fiction, all episodes when they use medical ninjutsu seem to indicate that they are somewhat based on the real world. So no, Kishi made a misstake there. You wouldn’t forgett how to use a kekegenkai. (It’s like rolling your tounge uppside down, only some people can do it cause it’s genetic and it can’t be learned. But you NEVER forget how to do it).
Ps. Suppose if Sasuke suffered some brain damage due to the trauma during that night he might have forgott how to use mentioned parts of his brain. And we’ve seen so far in the manga that he is rather retarded and makes alot of stupid decisions. So when I come to think of it yes, if Sasuke is infact a REAL retard and not just an IRL-failiure he might actualy have forgott how to use the Sharingan. But it’s just alot more probabol that even a great guy like kishi can make misstakes.

So in the flashback Itashi was more than 7 and still in the academy, another mistake.
But would you do better? If you buy the manga like I do, than you must have read some of Kishi’s life, and how he and his assistants work every week to release the next chapter, many of the work is done by them, and some times Kishi needs to modify the chapter by SJ orders. It’s human to make mistakes. I admit that I would prefer him not to make them, but the fact is Naruto is a great manga, 1st ranked in many websites, a best seller, and that means a lot.

I have to disagree with your thought process on Kekkei Genkai and human physiology. To me, it seems Kekkei Genkai is more like a genetic mutation. Just because you have a genetic mutation, it does not mean that you know that it is there. For instance, people go their whole lives with a certain disease that is passed down family member to family member, and not know that it is there because it does not manifest itself. Then a event occurs where the disease presents itself and then family memebers can be tested and are found to have it as well. Also just because there is a genetic mutation does not mean your brain can turn it off or on when it wants to. The brain does not control how severe or how minimal the mutation is. Also there is no set age when the brain decides that it wants to activate something in the body. Things change functionally speaking because we age and mature as humans. For instance not all children learn to walk or talk at the same age. We are all different.
As for trauma to the brain, it depends what kind of trauma it is. You speak of two different processes when you refer to trauma and mental retardation. Just because he suffers a traumatic event that leads to a form of amnesia (which is possible because his memories of that night are now coming back) does not mean he is mentally retarded. Mental retardation refers to the mental ability and is usually graded on a IQ scale. Trauma which causes brain damage does not mean that function will return either. Brain cells do not regenerate. Once they have been destroyed, they are gone for good. So a traumatic event that leads to brain damage is not a possibility in this case because of the return of function.
Expecting perfection in every single aspect of such a complicated manga that is written every weeks is asking for too much. Yet, these mistakes are, in my opinion, quite minor when you look at the whole thing. Hey, only people who are diehard fans, who spent hours reading and doing theories actually find them. So yeah, those are sure important details, but details still. Kishi is definately doing a great job and I like this manga.

Kishi said stuff about events happening in itachis life while actually i proved that those events did not happen in the age that the manga presented. So basically, that makes itachis whole life a mistake, and an itachi fan would take this seriously. Luckily for me, im not an itachi fan, or uchiha fan at all. So i didnt get mad.

You asked me where the databook was and what site i used for the information. First thing to note:
Do not trust sites. Always trust official sources. The databook is the official information source of the manga. Its made by kishi. Its like the Naruto Manga, but filled with information. You have to buy it. I bought mine from online. Here is a picture of the cover for the second naruto databook that was released long time ago
As you can see, it shows itachi,kisame, kimmamaru, and orochimaru in the cover here. The databook has information on the characters…etc
But again, i proved that the databook is wrong, just as alot of stuff is in the manga. But still, its better to use official sources against sites. Again, i do not use sites for my information, i use manga and official databook for my evidences. Official sources are always the best.

1st - When Sasuke fought Sakon, he was fighting the Sound Four, not only Sakon, if you read that again you that Sakon only blocked Sasuke’s kick because Ukon in Stage 2 for just a second made the work for his brother. It was 4 or 5 vs 1. Even with Lee’s speed and Taijutsu he and Lee were just genins. The Sound Four were very strong as well. Kiba didn’t beat Sakon and Ukon even using his most powerful moves and risking death, Sasuke was trying it all, you didn’t see him using Chidori for example.
2nd - Byakugan can probably see underground, but Neji was already exhausted probably almost out of chakra, and Byakugan needs chakra to work properly, when he saw Naruto down he lowered his defences he even admitted that. And it’s not logic of compare Neji’s eyesight in Part I with Part II, he was genin before and now he is a Jounin, his use of the Byakugan is much better now.
3rd - About that attack Neji used in Kisame at distance Gengle Fist probably only damage the Tenketsus with physic contact, and Kisame is a bit like Naruto, he possess a huge chakra and like Naruto, even if he got hit one time he can still use chakra.

For example, amaterasus temperature is the same temperature of the sun. The sun is like so far away from earth, yet it keeps the planet warm. Naruto went so close to itachis amaterasu in the belly of the frog, yet naruto wasnt even toasted. If naruto was 30 feet away from amaterasu, he would still be burnt, since amaterasus heat is equivilent to the sun, meaning he had to be lightyears away from amaterasu to not be affected by its heat. So databook has several mistakes, not only one.
By the way, your counters are not valid. For example, you said madara teleported to escape deidaras attack. That is true. But this is madara. Sasuke does not have that same technique madara did at konoha team. Remember, madara had that special move. You said sasuke does fast handseals. Correct. But let me ask you this again. You think its possible for sasuke to do that fast handseal, alter the space time continuum and render the inertial frame all in less than 1 second? Thats what i thought. I understand him doing fast handseal. Probably take like two seconds, the fastest. But doing that, and other stuff, in less than one second is impossible, and so far fetched.

In the Neji vs. Naruto fight, he was still just a genin like Daniel said. This means he probably hadn’t fully mastered the focus of the byakugan. What I mean by that is that even if his range of vision at any instant is 360 degrees in all directions, that doesn’t mean he was used to focusing on each point at once. Think of it as looking at your computer screen: your focus is on the screen, not on the things surrounding it. If a cockroach walked by at the edge of your peripheral (on the comp desk or something), you might not notice it even though it is within your visual field. Even if you did barely notice it, it would probably be too late if that cockroach was attacking you with a jutsu! Add to that fatigue from the fight and it isn’t too farfetched for young Neji to overlook a burrowing Naruto.
As for the data book, it may be that the book wasn’t written with the intention of being an end all be all list of definite facts, but instead an organized list of given information based on everything the manga chapters had revealed up to that point. If that was the case, then new information and revelations showing past beliefs to be untrue wouldn’t be taken into account yet. The new information renders some of the old data as void and therefore incorrect. It’s the same as a collection of data about a period in history. Newly revealed details alter the data.
Now I don’t know THAT much about the data book. If it has been explicitly labeled by Kishi and/or the people he works with as a list of ABSOLUTE FACTS, then my last point is totally wrong so feel free to correct me.

Well people here know that I’m for Tobito’s theory, I posted my version some months ago still in the old website. And there is a spoiler out there for this week chapter that kind of confirms my theory, but I’ve to wait for the confirmation.
Yeah Kishi could do that, but breaks of 2 weeks are normal in SJ mangas, they’re not meant to change radically the manga, it’s to the mangaka have some rest, they work almost 24/7 to release a new chapter every week. So I seriously doubt that. Everyboy said Naruto was Yondaime’s son, and Kishi didn’t changed that.
But lets wait for the next chapter, if that spoiler is real, I will repost my theory here and explain it to the new people in the forum.
About Sasuke, even if he gived all he had, which I doubt, he could make 2 chidoris for day in at the time, so he used one against Naruto in the roof and could use the other against them. But anyway it was 5 vs 1 there, so I’m still right.
Sure, it’s an important detail but hey, remember that you are crying over something that Kishi wrote YEARS ago. It’s highly plausible that in the meantime, he actually had new ideas and changed his story line. I mean, how could an author not get new ideas about one of the main characters in years? That’s just impossible. Perhaps he actually knows about that timeline mistake, but he had to make a choice: timeline or better story. Personally, I would rather have a nicer story than being held back by something I wrote years ago when I had just started to build the plot up.

You think its possible for sasuke to do that fast handseal, alter the space time continuum and render the inertial frame all in less than 1 second? Thats what i thought. I understand him doing fast handseal. Probably take like two seconds, the fastest. But doing that, and other stuff, in less than one second is impossible, and so far fetched.

About your comment earlier to TheVindicator regarding Kishi’s mistakes.
Kishi did made just one mistake the Data Book, maybe it wasn’t even him personally that writhed all that information, maybe it was a stupid assistant or a guy from SJ, but even if it was Kishi this was his only mistake.
About all the other mistakes you spoke about not regarding the Data Book, you are the one wrong there (I will try of counter you in order):
1st - When Sasuke fought Sakon, he was fighting the Sound Four, not only Sakon, if you read that again you that Sakon only blocked Sasuke’s kick because Ukon in Stage 2 for just a second made the work for his brother. It was 4 or 5 vs 1. Even with Lee’s speed and Taijutsu he and Lee were just genins. The Sound Four were very strong as well. Kiba didn’t beat Sakon and Ukon even using his most powerful moves and risking death, Sasuke wasn’t trying it all, you didn’t see him using Chidori for example.
2nd - Byakugan can probably see underground, but Neji was already exhausted probably almost out of chakra, and Byakugan needs chakra to work properly, when he saw Naruto down he lowered his defences he even admitted that. And it’s not logic to compare Neji’s eyesight in Part I with Part II, he was genin before and now he is a Jounin, his use of the Byakugan is much better now.
3rd - About that attack Neji used in Kisame at distance, Gengle Fist probably only damage the Tenketsus with physic contact, and Kisame is a bit like Naruto, he possess a huge chakra and like Naruto, even if he got hit one time he can still use chakra.
4th - About Sai, its true that after Kabuto goes away and the group reunites, Sai wasn’t there in the persecution of Sasuke, only when Madara appears before the group Sai its there again, but meanwhile we had: Naruto and Itashi meeting; Sasuke and Itashi first meeting at the cave; all of Jiraya vs Pain and Sasuke and Itashi meeting at the Uchiha hideout. Some hours passed meanwhile. How can you be sure Sai disapearense wasn’t on purpose? About Kakashi, Shikamaru and revenge you are wrong again, it was Konoha’s orders of hunt down the Akatsuki, and unlike Sasuke, Shikamaru didn’t wanted to go alone just for revenge. Of course revenge was one of the reasons but not irracional like Sasuke. And even if Kakuzu had been aware of Kage Bunshin uses, what could he do more? Naruto’s 2nd Rasenshuriken surprised everyone, he wasn’t expecting Naruto to be able to perform 2 Rasen at the same time, it was already hard enough 1, he underestimated Naruto and paid for that.
5th - Deidara vs Sasuke, both Sasuke and Madara were there right before the explosion, Madara got away with his lighting speed moves, and Sasuke can perform hand seals very quick, Zetsu said that he even could notice them sometimes, and the eyesight of Zetsu is very good.
So my point is, Kishi’s only mistake so far proved was the Data Book something that doesn’t belongs to the storyline of the manga, and that information could have been writhed by other person, not Kishi personally, maybe.

To add on to a couple of Daniel’s points:
In the Neji vs. Naruto fight, he was still just a genin like Daniel said. This means he probably hadn’t fully mastered the focus of the byakugan. What I mean by that is that even if his range of vision at any instant is 360 degrees in all directions, that doesn’t mean he was used to focusing on each point at once. Think of it as looking at your computer screen: your focus is on the screen, not on the things surrounding it. If a cockroach walked by at the edge of your peripheral (on the comp desk or something), you might not notice it even though it is within your visual field. Even if you did barely notice it, it would probably be too late if that cockroach was attacking you with a jutsu! Add to that fatigue from the fight and it isn’t too farfetched for young Neji to overlook a burrowing Naruto.
As for the data book, it may be that the book wasn’t written with the intention of being an end all be all list of definite facts, but instead an organized list of given information based on everything the manga chapters had revealed up to that point. If that was the case, then new information and revelations showing past beliefs to be untrue wouldn’t be taken into account yet. The new information renders some of the old data as void and therefore incorrect. It’s the same as a collection of data about a period in history. Newly revealed details alter the data.
Now I don’t know THAT much about the data book. If it has been explicitly labeled by Kishi and/or the people he works with as a list of ABSOLUTE FACTS, then my last point is totally wrong so feel free to correct me.

To Everyone who is against or for the Tobito theory. Heres
Masashi intended for Tobi to be Obito. But, Too many people were saying this on forums and in their theories.
We didn’t recieve a chapter for two weeks because he was thinking of something Original, Tobi being Obito was too obvious and it wouldnt surprise anyone.
To Daniel, I think Sasuke did give all he had, after all he activated his Curse Seal.
I dont think he had enough in him to Activate Chidori.
Please stop talking about Kekkai Genkai >>

Well people here know that I’m for Tobito’s theory, I posted my version some months ago still in the old website. And there is a spoiler out there for this week chapter that kind of confirms my theory, but I’ve to wait for the confirmation.
Yeah Kishi could do that, but breaks of 2 weeks are normal in SJ mangas, they’re not meant to change radically the manga, it’s to the mangaka have some rest, they work almost 24/7 to release a new chapter every week. So I seriously doubt that. Everyboy said Naruto was Yondaime’s son, and Kishi didn’t changed that.
But lets wait for the next chapter, if that spoiler is real, I will repost my theory here and explain it to the new people in the forum.
About Sasuke, even if he gived all he had, which I doubt, he could make 2 chidoris for day in at the time, so he used one against Naruto in the roof and could use the other against them. But anyway it was 5 vs 1 there, so I’m still right.

Sure, it’s an important detail but hey, remember that you are crying over something that Kishi wrote YEARS ago. It’s highly plausible that in the meantime, he actually had new ideas and changed his story line. I mean, how could an author not get new ideas about one of the main characters in years? That’s just impossible. Perhaps he actually knows about that timeline mistake, but he had to make a choice: timeline or better story. Personally, I would rather have a nicer story than being held back by something I wrote years ago when I had just started to build the plot up.
