what if the uchiha clan was just really bad? seriously, look at their background: killing their best friends, and siblings to attain power, madara and his brother conquering the shinobi world. and the first hokage and madara didn’t fight for no reason. they fought because they wanted to rule the leaf village differently (and we know that the first was a “good guy” so what does that make madara?) what if itachi realized they were bad, or had plans to do something bad? that doesn’t explain why he would work with madara to kill everyone, but it would explain his motives for killing the clan… just an idea.
To SHuma: The only thing we have saying that Jiraiya is stronger than Orochimaru, is that he really did show a great fight against pein (though he lost) and that he didn’t use Senin mode VS Orochimaru the last time fighting. But fact is, Orochimaru had a tie between both Tsunade AND jiraiya. In which they where both mortally wounded, while Orochimaru was just exhausted. And that was when he couldn’t use a single seal or fight properly due to not having his arms. Of course, he had kabuto thats clearly on hokage level ( Tsunade both says that Kakashi could be hokage and it’s also said when kabuto is introduced that he could “go toe to toe” with kakashi). but still he’s not on sannin level. And it’s also the general view of all the characters in the manga, that Orochimaru was the strongest of the sannin, even before he left the village. And that was before he got his crazy white snake AND his completely uber hydra Jutsu.
But there is one final evidence that Orochimaru is stronger than Jiraya. Jiraya was almost killed by Naruto when the Nine tails chakra was released, and only survived due to being able to seal it away again. But orochimaru could fight naruto in that state even when severely weaken.
so I was looking over the manga and there isn’t that much time between the first and now, it showed tunada being held by the first, meaning he was alive when she was a kid, maybe she was like 7 or 8, I am not sure, but before the time skip jeriah says that he is 51 and that tunada is the same age as him, so if she was 8 remove 8 from 51 and you get 43, then add 3 years for the time skip and you got 46, so we know the first was alive 46 years ago. I think back then he was in his 30s at the most so that only makes madara like 86 years old. And that is not that old, if only I could have found out the firsts exact age in that flash back.
to DeathWalker look i have a teory for you..if madara fighted with 1st then and thinking the 3rd was very old then you making a mistake saying that madara have only 86 years lol because 3rd have maybe 50 years and the time line betwen the 3rd abd the 1st is long then you have no point on saying that madara is that old only because i think madara is more old than 86 sry
ok here is my theory to how old Madara is, of course we all think its his original body but what is keeping him alive is what startles me, ok so Madara fought against first so that had to be about 100 or so years ago because if you go back to when the valley of the end was created Sasuke said that the first had fought here almost 100 years ago so her is older that 80 and probably older than 100 and the 3rd hokage was 69 when he died, in the time skip he should be 72 if alive so Madara is like dirt old
or, maybe kishi is really inconsistent. it’s impossible to tell. the evidence points sooo many directions. the evidence is so inconsistent. a flashback shows the first hokage holding tsunade (and the first doesn’t look too old in the image), but apparently the battle ad the valley of the end occurred around a hundred years ago. two things that have conflicting meanings. either madara’s old, or he’s… not extremely old. it’s too hard to tell… maybe we should just wait and see? if it matters kishi will let us know. if it doesn’t, then it won’t affect the story.
guys you arn’t getting the point, the 3rd was 63 when he died, jeriah was 51 when the 3rd died, meaning the 3rd was 12 years older then jeriah, if jeriah was between 10 and 12 (normal graduate age) then the 3rd was 24 when he trained jeriah, say naruto is 12, kakashi is 24, minato is 36, jeriah is 48, the 3rd is 60, then the 1st would be around 72, there is a 5 years leeway in the ages, but you should see a pattern, and with naruto jeriah and the 3rd you can see it lines up.

It is simple people keep saying madara is to old to be in his own body, if he is 86 then he is not to old, mainly people think he is older then he is.
