Hey long time reader, first time commenter. I couldn’t help but notice that the only squad whose captain hasn’t been revealed in this time period is squad 10. Since Hitsugaya wasn’t even a shinigami yet, the space is open. My guess is Isshin Kurosaki since we haven’t seen why he ended up in the real world or how he knew about Urahara and the Vizards already. Then again Kubo might just save his story for way later…
apparently he reach’d an untimely demise.. which is wat kyoraku was sayin when speakin bout the ‘recent’ flux in captains… i’d like to see who the present ‘kenpachi’ is… the captain of 11th div…
one thing tho.. where is yoruichi’s zanpaktou.. ive never seen it.. has anyone else?

so It probably is the real Aizen. However it strike me as odd for him to be “that” stupid as to go agaist yamamoto, unless if he has made himself a vizard because remember he said he had reached the limit or was implying that he’s reached the limit a Shinigami can. But then again his arrogance knows no bound. I know In the end Aizen would prob. die by Ichigo’s hands, but I would love it if Benehime (kisuke’s Zanpakuto) or Shinji to kill him I just want the last words Aizen hear to be “While you were in you mothers’ womb”.

I wouldn’t be surprise if he was as shinigami’s live for so long, however I think his story takes place later and intertwine with Urahara and Ryuuken, Since he knows all about the Vizard, I am still sticking with my theory that he was the one Urahara put the “orb of distortion” in him the for him to become completely human until recently.

I think Urahara Kisuke, because even during his fight with the 5th espada, he was just PLAYING around.
I don’t think Aizen is stupid, he can be anything less stupid, look If he says he reached the limit of the Shinigami, that means he is clearly the strongest Shinigami now, yes even stronger than Yamamoto, that’s what I think.
And it’s not the Hōgyoku that make shinigamis human, it’s the untraceable gigai, and that was the reason for his exile. The Hōgyoku is to unleash the limits of Shinigami and Hollow, to they can attain the power of one another.
And Urahara never fought the 5th Espada, that is noitora, he fought the susbtitute of Grimejaw, that was weaker than him.

strongest in the manga for me is a shootout between aizen and yama-jii.. unohana herself must be quite fearsome wen she’s pissed… but in terms of brute strength, zaraki takes it for me. ichigo has the potential to become the strongest among the vaizards.. but he jus sucks!!!
Sorry but I think Aizen is slightly stronger than Yama-jii, and Ichigo is not stronger yet. With the mask on he is already amazing, and he doesn’t even know how to fire a Cero or use any Kidou, don’t forget, Ichigo reached Bankai in 3 days, defeated Zaraki with Shikai, and 3 lieutenants at the same time bare handed.
You say Urahara is stronger than Aizen, who can stop an opponent with his bare hands? So what? Ichigo also defeated lieutenant level guys that way, Aizen stopped Tensa Zangetsu with one finger, and Komamura zanpakutou with one hand.
And Aizen didn’t used Hogyoku in himself yet? Maybe because the Orb is still sealed, he can only use some of his power, to create Arrancar and even Espada he doesn’t care much, be to use it with himself, he probably wants its full power, and probably the results will be much better than the ones we see in the Vaizards that were just a old and probably incomplete experience.
ok ok, well aizen undoubtedly is the strongest shinigami, but he like daniel has said hasn’t used the hygoku on himself, but we are all missing one valid point,ichigo’s “inner hollow” made him train to be a vaizard, i believe ichigo will become the strongest shinigami/vaizard ever, especially since ichigo had never came into contac with another vaizard which as we saw how the vaiard were created. ichigo has a much darker side to him, and his zankpaktou is one of the darkest and wilder nature swords.
Which is why he will kill aizen.
ALSO, there is one thing that is really bothering me, now i know someone mentioned that the tenth squad protection leader hasnt been mentioned but im going to speculate that its ichigos dad, because nothing has been shed light on how or when his dad was ashinigami, i mean god knows hes not as old as yamamto, but he took out that hollow who killed ichigos mom without blinking, i wouldnt be suprised if his dad was vaizard/shinigami. i mean call me crazy.
and thens theres ishida’s pops, who is a Beast, i wonder what the conflict was there and when is it going to surface in the following chapters, i know there going to play a rolde in killing some top espadas undoubtedly.
and inoue, when is she gonna evovle her fighting powers,

i beleive, much like aizen did, urahara could stop tenza zangetsu with his pinkie if need be.. but thats jus me.. i really beleive kisuke hiding latent ability..i mean he can negate reiatsu.. and remember he was the first person to achieve bankai in 3 days..

The thing about Kisuke that makes me believe hes the most powerful is what he has done so far!
1. Hōgyoku, I mean creating something like that doesn’t just fall into your lap like it did with Aizen!
2. Came up with a way to get Bankai in 3 days
3. created the training dome
4. control dangerouse “prisoners” with his hand
5. He was able to control Kurotshuchi Mayuri…I know this doesn’t seem like much, but out of all the captains in Soul society i think he’s the uncontrolable.
6. While fighting the espada guy, he figured out how his muscles were moving and the “cero” like blast and did not stop it like most people would, he CANCELLED, Negated the atack.
As powerfull as Aizen is, once you cancel his “total hypnosis” like Shinji did, have the battle is HALF won. I know Aizen has Bankai as well, prob. is a Vizard as well. I think if those two met it’ll be an awesome fight with very little between them.
I’m not saying that Urahara is weak, not at all. Like Aizen we haven’t seen his bankai as well. But its not that surprising that he could predict the Cero like attack by the muscles, he is a scientist, specialized in Gigai as well, he know bodies like no other. The fact that he created Hogyoku doesn’t mean he is stronger than Aizen, he is a genius scientist.
About Kyoka Suigetsu’s power, Aizen said that even if people know its powers they still fall for the illusion like Komamura, it takes a very intelligent person to figure out the illusion, and still that takes a lot of time, like Unohana, she figured out that Aizen was alive but many hours later, in combat she would be death. Shinji didn’t figure Aizen illusion.
I tell you Aizen is not confident for no reason, he made Grimejaw kneel just with his reiatsu. We haven’t seen him fight for real, and still he defeated two Captains in seconds, Hitsugaya and Komamura. But we will see about that in the next chapter maybe.

Oh hey does anyone know which chapter Hitsugaya meets Hyourinmaru?
